The fifth instalment in the ‘Memoirs of a Houseboy’ series
I wasn’t looking forward to spending Christmas as part of a house party at Leo’s place to begin with. The booze ban by my boyfriends had taken the lustre right off the party season for me.
What’s Christmas without a flagon of ale or a classy glass of fancy fizz? Boring!
A visit to my mother, on the day before Christmas Eve, did nothing to lift my mood. It triggered a welter of memories and emotions that made Christmas seem even less appealing.
Stuff the season of goodwill.

Honestly, I just want to gather Gilli up and tell him it's gonna be alright and then I want to smack Shane up the side of the head and say show a little compassion - yep, still struggling to like Shane. I get that Shane is the disciplinarian and alpha of the triad but compassion and three little words to Gilli wouldn't kill him any! Oy! Of course, I'd also like for Shane and Dick to put Gilli in a little counseling to curb that drama mama and address his insecurities. Gilli can be insightful at times and he is doing a little growing but he still acts like a teenager instead of a 24/25 year old man so I can get Shane's frustration at times but I guess I struggle with the fact that Gilli isn't really told anything to know why Shane and Dick are stressed so, again with the less than equal partnership but again, it's a discipline household so.... the dynamics are just a little off for me but I love the group as a whole and am eagerly awaiting the next installment (Please!!!!!) with Gilli like anxiety of will he or won't he......Product details

I LOVED this!! It was so wonderful to have a new Gilli story. Such a treat. I can't wait to see what happens when he finally goes home to deal with the box. (Don't make us wait so long Mr. Brown!)
As previous books this one is just as endearing, funny and zany. Gilli is getting older...when will these shenanigans stop? This author knows how to tell a story.
Love this book! I laughed; I cried. I could relate to so many of the emotional aspects of what Gilli went through with his mom's illness. He is a marvelous story teller and is able to draw the reader into a scene with ease.
This is the latest in a great series! Gillibran is the youngest of 3 men who share a home. Though there are some elements of sex and D/s, this is mainly a story of a young man and his life, both past and present. In this volume, he describes the experiences he lived through when he was younger that shape who he is today. He is an engaging, amusing, appealing person and it is hard to wait for each new book to come out!
As with his other books, Gilli left me laughing and crying. He finds an ally (in an unlikely person ... a character totally unlike anyone he's ever met and one I was glad come into the picture) and some appreciation but I do wish he'd open up a bit ... he's headed for a crash. This book is a bit more insightful as he examines his past relationships a bit more closely still wish he'd talk to someone as no man is an island, especially not in a ménage relationship. Well written, engaging, witty and at points, absolutely hilarious, Gilli has done it again. Now I can't wait to read "Revelations".
If you haven't read this series, you really should. Extremely well written, provocative, humorous, and thought provoking. A stand out
series by a talented author. In this genre (Dom/sub) - nothing else even comes close. Originally, I stayed away from the books
because of the menage and BDSM (which is very light, actually, and more like domestic discipline), but after reading all the great
reviews, I finally took the plunge and was blown away by the humor and emotional intensity in the Memoirs. I hope the author
continues the series. I'll happily buy anything he writes.
I would give this book 10 stars if they permitted me. I loved this book. It was the best one in the series. I read this book from midnight to 5 a.m. last night. I could not put it down. However, I want to read it again. The story showed our favorite boy Gilli's deepest emotions. He took us to his dark black hole where he goes when he's hurt. We see the relationship of the three guys in a different light. I enjoyed Gilli standing up for himself and explaining some of his discontent. Shane did things to Gilli I never thought he would do. He turned into a very strict Dom. It's like he wanted to force Gilli to grow up. I can't wait until the next one. I am hooked. Read these books. They are awesome! I just love Gilli. Book cover is awesome, too. Please hurry and write the next book.
